John and Lauren Connolly began their photography journey over a decade ago. In 2020, they decided to pursue what they love and open a business. Their combined talents and passions compliment each other to provide excellent customer service and beautiful, high quality products for their clients in this unique field. They are on a mission to expose people to new heights and perspectives through the perspective of drone imaging!
John Connolly
John Connolly is a retired Army Veteran who has leveraged his Military experience to become a highly skilled Drone Pilot. Throughout his career in the Army, John developed a passion for mapping and technology. He has since honed his skills as a Drone Pilot. With over a decade of experience in computer mapping, John is known for his expertise in using drones for various applications, including aerial photography, videography, thermal imaging, FPV, roof inspections, and computer mapping. He is also known for his commitment to safety, following all FAA regulations, and ensuring that his flights are conducted in a responsible manner. John has a Bachelors from the University of Cincinnati in Geography and he has earned his FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot Certification. John is continuing his education online with the University of West Florida to obtain a Masters in Geographic Information Systems. When he is not at work, you can find him fishing, hiking, biking, diving, and hanging out with his family!
Lauren Connolly
Previously a Dive Professional, Lauren brings a keen eye for safety when flying as a Drone Pilot for JL Aerial Views. She is known as the creative vision for the team. Her love of photography started in 2007 when John got her a Nikon D60 DSLR to capture images of their son growing up while John was deployed in Iraq. She has since sharpened her skills to become a Professional Photographer. Lauren received a Bachelors from the University of West Florida in Maritime Studies and she has earned her FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot Certification. She is also a Certified Interpretive Guide, Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist, Open Water S.C.U.B.A. Instructor, holds a Career Diploma in Wildlife & Forestry Conservation, and is a Master Herpetologist. When she is not flying, she is painting pet portraits under LC Aqua Art or exploring with Lauren Connolly Photography. For fun, she enjoys photographing nature (even better if it is from her kayak!), diving, travel, learning new things, biking, hiking, playing board games, and hanging out with her family.
